Limited Company Accounts in Selby & York
Statutory accounts, corporation tax and Companies House filings, handled properly and filed on time — plus a plain-English conversation about what the numbers actually mean for you and your business.
What's included
- Year-end statutory accounts prepared to FRS 102 1A or FRS 105
- Corporation tax (CT600) computation and filing
- Companies House filing and confirmation statements
- Director salary and dividend planning
- Dormant company accounts
- Company formation, registered office and secretarial support
More than a compliance exercise
Anyone can file accounts. What matters is the conversation before the year end, when there's still something you can do about the tax bill: pension contributions, timing of capital purchases, the right salary and dividend mix, and whether the company structure still fits how you actually trade.
Deadlines and penalties
Accounts are due at Companies House nine months after your year end, corporation tax is payable nine months and one day after, and the CT600 is due twelve months after. Late filing penalties at Companies House start at £150 and escalate. We work backwards from your year end and chase records early so none of that happens.
Making Tax Digital and companies
Making Tax Digital for Income Tax affects sole traders and landlords first. HMRC's current roadmap has shelved MTD for Corporation Tax, so limited companies have no quarterly reporting requirement at present. We'll tell you well ahead if that changes.
